Scope note
Peg solitaire is a board game for one player involving the movement of pegs or marbles in and out of holes. The standard game uses a board with 37 holes with each hole containing a ball, peg, or pin, except in the middle hole, which is empty, the aim being to remove balls by steps until the board is empty but for the central hole, though there are variations of the method of play, and the size and shape of the board and number of pegs.
